IDIWA prioritizes access to disability friendly sexual and reproductive health services for women and girls with disabilities through advocacy for accessibility improvement to infrastructure, labour wards, and information, education and communication to encourage informed decision making to address the challenge of abuse of sexual and reproductive health rights of women and girls with disabilities that continue to be contested and remain majorly un prioritized in the current health system.

IDIWA continues to advocate for and with women and girls with disabilities to promote disability friendly services and disability mainstreaming at local, national and international levels and also raise awareness to change behaviors that stigmatize persons with disabilities.
